This Privacy Policy explains how Invio VN eInvoice ("Invio", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you install and use the App. Invio helps Shopify merchants automatically issue Vietnamese electronic invoices for eligible orders.

Information We Collect

To provide the Service, we may collect and process the following information:

  • Store information, including your Shopify shop domain, Shop ID, and access token provided by Shopify.
  • Order information, including products, prices, taxes, shipping fees, discounts, payment status, and other data required to generate electronic invoices.
  • Customer information, such as customer name, email address, billing information, company name, and tax identification number when available and required for invoice issuance.
  • Invoice settings, including numbering rules, templates, tax configuration, and other preferences configured by the merchant.
  • Diagnostic information, such as application logs and error reports, to maintain service reliability and provide support.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information only to:

  • Generate Vietnamese electronic invoices.
  • Synchronize invoice status with Shopify orders.
  • Connect with licensed Vietnamese eInvoice providers selected by the merchant.
  • Provide customer support and resolve technical issues.
  • Improve the security, stability, and performance of the App.

We do not sell personal information or use merchant or customer data for advertising purposes.

Data Sharing

We share information only when necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Shopify.
  • Licensed Vietnamese electronic invoice providers chosen by the merchant.
  • Infrastructure providers that host and secure the App.
  • Government authorities where disclosure is required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain merchant data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations. When the App is uninstalled, data is deleted in accordance with Shopify's privacy compliance requirements and applicable laws.

Shopify Privacy Compliance

Invio supports Shopify's required privacy webhooks, including shop redaction, customer redaction, and customer data requests. We process these requests in accordance with Shopify's requirements and applicable privacy regulations.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over secure connections, and access to merchant information is restricted to authorized systems and personnel.
