Get started with Lisive eInvoice

Lisive eInvoice issues legal Vietnamese e-invoices (VAT invoices) for your Shopify orders through your own e-invoice provider account. Customers can ask for a company or personal invoice on your store, and the app issues it automatically or when you click a button.

The Home page has a setup guide with the same steps.

Step 1: Choose a plan

Go to Plans and click Start free trial. The Standard plan includes 20 invoices every month. See Plans and billing.

Step 2: Connect your e-invoice provider

Go to Settings, click Connect provider and sign in with the account from your provider. Mắt Bão Invoice and VNPT Invoice are supported. See Connect your e-invoice provider.

Step 3: Enter your invoice template and series

In Settings > Invoice defaults, enter the Invoice template code and Invoice series exactly as they appear in your provider account. See Invoice settings.

Step 4: Add the invoice request form to your store

Go to Storefront and click Turn on app embed. Customers can then tick I need a VAT invoice on the cart page and fill in their details before checkout. See Add the invoice request form to your store.

Step 5: Turn on automatic issuing

In Settings > Automation, choose when invoices are issued, for example After payment. See Automatic issuing.

Test it

1. In Settings, connect your provider with Environment set to Sandbox. Sandbox invoices are not legal invoices, and test orders get an invoice only in the sandbox.
2. Place a test order and tick I need a VAT invoice on the cart page.
3. Open Invoices. The invoice shows up with the status Issued, and you can download the PDF.
4. When you are ready, disconnect and connect again with Environment set to Production.

The Setup status card

The Setup status card on Settings shows what the app still needs before it can issue invoices: E-invoice provider, Template code and series, Seller information and Automation. Click a row to jump to it.
